This is a hand-built, raku-fired sculptural ceramic piece with multiple stacked elements. The base is a round turquoise ceramic form. Above the base sits a white crackle-glazed 8-sided organic ring. Resting atop the white ring is a green almost pumpkin shaped ceramic disc.. A weathered, natural piece of Sanibel driftwood balances horizontally across the green element. On top of the driftwood perches a small black and white ceramic bird. The overall composition combines natural and crafted materials, blending earthy colors and textures. This piece measures 6" tall x 6 1/2" wide at the widest part of the driftwood. The bottom turquoise piece is about 5" wide.
